Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of tasteof.me (the “Service”), a digital store offering curated Lightroom presets (“Presets”). By using the Service or purchasing a Preset, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

tasteof.me sells downloadable Lightroom presets curated by mood. Presets are digital products delivered electronically. We may add, change, or discontinue Presets and features at any time.

2. Accounts and Sign-in

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address; no password is required. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide an accurate email so we can deliver your purchases and sign-in links.

3. Purchases and Payment

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. When you make a purchase, your transaction is with Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply. Prices are shown before checkout and may include applicable taxes depending on your location. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

4. License to Use Presets

Upon successful payment, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased Presets to edit your own photographs, including photos you create for paying clients. You may not:

• resell, sublicense, redistribute, or share the Preset files;
• include the Presets in any product, bundle, or template offered to others;
• claim authorship of the Presets themselves; or
• publish or distribute the Presets for free or for a fee.

You own the photos you edit. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Presets.

5. Refunds

Because Presets are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are generally final once the files have been made available for download. Where required by law, statutory refund rights still apply. Refund requests are handled together with Paddle as the Merchant of Record. For full details, see the refund policy shown at checkout or contact us.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Presets, sample images, text, and branding, is owned by tasteof.me or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with normal operation, scraping content, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and Presets are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Presets will produce a specific result on every photograph, since results depend on lighting, camera, and source image.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tasteof.me will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Preset giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
