This Privacy Policy explains how tasteof.me (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our store for curated Lightroom presets (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Email address — used to sign you in (via a one-time link) and to deliver your purchases and order confirmations.
• Purchase records — the Presets you buy, order identifiers, and download history, so we can give you access to what you own.
• Technical and usage data — basic information such as device and browser type and pages viewed, used to operate and improve the Service.

We do not collect or store your full payment-card details. Those are handled by our payment processor (see below).

2. How We Use Your Information

• to provide the Service, including sign-in and delivery of purchased Presets;
• to process orders and provide customer support;
• to send essential transactional messages (e.g. sign-in links, receipts);
• to maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. When you check out, Paddle collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive only the order details needed to fulfill and support your purchase (such as your email and what you bought), not your card number.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to make the Service work — for example, to remember your language preference and to keep you signed in. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run the Service: with our payment processor (Paddle) to complete transactions, and with infrastructure and hosting providers that operate the Service on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Note that some records (such as transaction history) may need to be retained for legal reasons.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
